Applied Litho Resource, Inc. Client FTP Access


You may send or receive files via our FTP site using any of the following programs:  
  • Netscape Communicator
  • Leech Client for Windows
  • Fetch client for Macintosh
  • Internet Explorer for Windows
  • Other FTP client software


Netscape Communicator and Internet Explorer “Drag and Drop” Instructions:  

  • If one of the above is your default browser click this link: ftp.appliedlitho.com . The current directory of our FTP site will load in your browser
     
  • Enter the following information:
    User ID: ftp3089
    Password: (call ALRI for password)

     
  • Drag your stuffit or zipped files into the browser window. A prompt will ask if you are “sure you want to upload the dragged file to the FTP site?” Click the "OK" button and the transfer will begin.
     
  • Make sure that you fax (214-547-0163) or call (214-547-0161) with the filename and instructions after the transfer is complete. We have no other way of tracking the file.
     

Fetch instructions for Mac users:  

  • Download the Fetch program for free here:

  • Launch Fetch. Enter the following information:
    Host: ftp.appliedlitho.com
    User ID: ftp3089
    Password: (call ALRI for password)

    Leave the directory line blank
     
  • Click the OK button. A current directory of our FTP site will be displayed. You may drag your stuffit or zip file into the directory, or click the "Put" button and navigate to the file you wish to send. You may also create a new directory (folder) by using the pulldown menus at the top of your screen.
     
  • Make sure that you fax (214-547-0163) or call (214-547-0161) with the filename and instructions after the transfer is complete.


Leech instructions for Windows users:  

  • Download the Leech program for free here:

  • Launch Leech. Go to File > Connect.
    Enter the following information:
    Host or URL: ftp.appliedlitho.com
    Username: ftp3089
    Password: (call ALRI for password)

    Leave Remote Directory blank - leave Port alone
     
  • Click the OK button. A current directory of our FTP site will be displayed in the far right column. You may drag your zip or stuffit file into the far right directory, or right click in the center column and choose “change directory”. Navigate to your file, then drag it into the far right column.
     
  • Make sure that you fax (214-547-0163) or call (214-547-0161) with the filename and instructions after the transfer is complete. We have no other way of tracking the file.

Reminders for using the Applied Litho  FTP Site:  

  • Gather and organize your files. Be sure to include all support files.
  • Files transferred over FTP MUST be compressed.  
  • Macintosh users should use Dropstuff from Aladdin systems.  
  • Windows users should use a utility like Winzip.
